01 — Who is responsible
The website operator is responsible for personal data processing associated with WePlay.club. The operator’s legal name, postal address, and privacy contact email are listed on the dedicated Impressum page.
02 — Technical data and local times
Delivering a website involves technical request data, such as an IP address, requested URL, request time, and browser information. The hosting provider may process this information to deliver and secure the service.
When hosted on Vercel, WePlay.club reads an approximate country supplied by the hosting platform from the request’s IP address. The browser’s timezone is used to display local event times. This does not request GPS location. The application does not store a location history or send the browser timezone to Supabase.
Event countdowns run in your browser. Browsing does not require an account, and the current app has no advertising or analytics scripts.
04 — Event images and external services
Supabase stores the event catalog and event images. The application server retrieves public event records without forwarding a visitor account or browser cookies. Your browser loads remote artwork directly from its image host, which receives technical request data including your IP address. Current event artwork is hosted on Supabase; other image hosts may be used if event artwork is changed.
Fonts are hosted with this website. Supported YouTube livestreams use YouTube’s privacy-enhanced player. The player does not connect to YouTube while the preview is displayed; it loads from youtube-nocookie.com only after you press Play. At that point, YouTube receives technical request data such as your IP address and browser information, and YouTube’s privacy terms apply. Other streaming platforms are linked rather than embedded.
Following an external platform link takes you to that provider, whose own privacy and cookie policies apply. Jupiter links are shown only when a related prediction market was verified for an event; WePlay.club does not place trades or connect a wallet. The share menu opens the social network you choose, or copies the event URL to your clipboard. WePlay.club does not load social-media widgets while you browse.

05 — Purposes, retention, and international transfers
Technical processing supports delivery, security, event imagery, and local-time presentation. The preference cookie remembers your explicit settings request. These purposes are separate from optional advertising or analytics, which are not implemented.
The operator must confirm the legal basis for each purpose, any legitimate interests relied on, service-provider log retention, hosting regions, and any safeguards for transfers outside the European Economic Area. These deployment details are not established by the application code and remain pending in this draft.
The application does not maintain visitor accounts or a visitor activity database. This does not mean hosting or image providers keep no logs. The only application preference cookie described here expires after 180 days.
06 — Your rights and questions
Where the GDPR applies, you may have rights to access, correct, erase, restrict, object to processing of, or receive a portable copy of your personal data, subject to the conditions of the relevant right. Where processing relies on consent, you can withdraw it for future processing. You may also complain to a competent data protection supervisory authority.
Privacy requests can be sent to the operator using the contact details on the Impressum page. The current application does not make automated decisions about you that produce legal or similarly significant effects.
